Synopsis by Hal Erickson
Investigating the murder of a specialist in sleep disorders, Mulder travels to Connecticut in the company of his new temporary partner, Alex Krycek (Nicholas Lea). Linking up with Scully, Mulder and Krycek determine that the dead specialist, as well as another recent murder victim, died of causes other than those that the evidence suggests. The key to the mystery would seem to be a Vietnam veteran who has the ability to transfer his consciousness to the minds of others. Written by Howard Gordon, "Sleepless" originally aired October 7, 1994.
