The Last Stand is a 2006 drama film written and directed by Russ Parr. The film, which marked Parr's debut as a director, was inspired by his experiences a stand-up comic in the 1980s. He had written the script in the late 1990s.
It was released directly onto DVD in July 2006, but had received a screening at the Magic Johnson Theatres in Washington, D.C. in June 2007 and had another screening at the Roxbury Film Festival in Boston after its DVD release.
