The film tells the true story of Mozart Vieira, which soon felt a strong vocation for music. Its foundation earns great impact and the spotlight arouse the hatred of local colonels. Arise threats and attacks. The Foundation's headquarters is invaded and the boy is kidnapped Erinaldo if that ends up turning into a national scandal, but the chief city of Olinda says was armed by Mozart to promote his Orchestra. A movement led by artists Ivan Lins, Fagner, Gilberto Gil and others makes a petition in favor of Mozart and through legal action, the Orchestra retrieves the Foundation building. The conductor and his orchestra return to São Caetano in the arms of the crowd and play in the town square.
