Puneet (Sunny Singh Nijjar) turns down Saanjh’s (Sonnali Seygall) marriage proposal, citing his fear of his mother, who hates Saanjh’s mother, as the reason. Heartbroken, Saanjh breaks up with him. She then finds a new man with the help of her mother and they set their wedding date. Puneet’s mother does the same: she finds him a new girl and sets their marriage on the same day as Saanjh’s. After realizing that they are meant to be together, Saanjh and Puneet concoct a plan to mend their mothers’ relationship. Written and directed by Navjot Gulati.
