Henry William Richardson was an English film editor. He was born and raised in the East End of London and educated at Hackney Downs School. He started working in the film industry when he left school at the age of 18. He got into the cutting room as a second assistant editor on Ken Annakin's "The Story of Robin Hood and His Merrie Men" at 21 years old. Some of his earliest films as a film editor were "Man on the Beach" directed by Joseph Losey in 1956 and "Ten Seconds to Hell" directed by Robert Aldrich in 1959.
