Synopsis by Kyle Lavigne
Writer-director Iram Haq drew from her own teenage experiences for her second feature film. Maria Mozhdah stars as Nisha, a Norwegian-Pakistani teenager who is sent to live with her relatives in Pakistan after her father (Adil Hussain) finds her in bed with her boyfriend. She is forced to navigate conflicting cultural norms concerning female sexuality while living with her relatives in an unfamiliar country.
