Director Amy Redford's drama tells the story of a relationship that turns into a game of cat and mouse. Eighteen-year-old Anna (Grace Van Dien) has an online boyfriend in Eric (Kyle Gallner), who claims to be just a slightly older college student. But when they meet, he turns out to be twenty-eight, which disturbs Anna's mother, Beth (Summer Phoenix). But Anna is smitten and continues to see him, despite their age difference. But when Eric reveals his intentions and his past with Beth, the relationship turns into a dark game with Anna as the prize.
