Co-directed by George Loomis and Elias Talbot from a script by Loomis, this political drama also stars Loomis as Jones, a young medical student put on detail to care for Chris Williams (Christopher Cousins), the injured U.S. ambassador to Syria, as the patient waits for a heart transplant. Williams survived a terrorist attack in Damascus, which killed his daughter and injured his wife. While in the closely-guarded hospital, the idealistic Jones tries to help the ambassador as much as he can, until Williams communicates to him of a political conspiracy that could endanger them all.
