Lady Macbeth is a 2016 British film directed by William Oldroyd, based on the novel Lady Macbeth of the Mtsensk District by Nikolai Leskov. It stars Florence Pugh, Cosmo Jarvis, Paul Hilton, Naomi Ackie and Christopher Fairbank.
The film had its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival on 10 September 2016, and is scheduled to be released on 28 April 2017, by Altitude Film Distribution.
