A bank robbery sends two bank gangsters on the run, leading them to a distant farm and an unsuspecting family. Held at gunpoint, the farmer and his wife fear for their lives, but the teenage children welcome the excitement. The thieves form an unspoken alliance with the youths and an understanding begins to develop, until a swarm of police elicopters locate the outlaws and the quite countryside explodes with violence.
