When her time as German Chancellor comes to an end, Angela Merkel retreats with her timid scientist husband Achim, pampered pug Helmut and sensitive bodyguard Mike to a modest cottage in a sleepy countryside village. She soon gets bored and finds it hard to make any friends in the tight-knit community. But when two mysterious deaths occur on the dilapidated estate of the local baron, Angela finds her new calling – as a private detective!
