In this tender portrait, director Lisa Immordino Vreeland (Diana Vreeland: The Eye Has To Travel, Peggy Guggenheim: Art Addict) blends archival footage and photographs with voice over of Beaton’s famed diaries to capture his legacy as a complex and unique creative force.
