Jaco is a 2014 American documentary film that depicts the life and death of jazz musician Jaco Pastorius. The film is directed by Paul Marchand and Stephen Kijak, and was co-produced by Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo; along with John Battsek of Passion Pictures. It features interviews with musicians such as Sting, Joni Mitchell, Flea, Jerry Jemmott, Bootsy Collins, Wayne Shorter, Herbie Hancock, Carlos Santana, Jonas Hellborg, and never-before-seen photos and film from the Pastorius family archive.
