When you are the 16 year old heir to an oil fortune and the son of the man who might be the next President, it may be that all you really want to do is play your guitar and hang out with your best friend. That's the case for Will Ryburn. Ahh, if only life would be that easy! When Will's father forces him to a Student Congress Program in Washington DC, Will meets up with three quirky friends: eco-terrorist Ally genius, Javi and beautiful and brave Tanisha. Unfortunately, also attending are the incorrigible Barry Allen and the luscious but aloof Kate Lackland. Events take a turn in the Caledon Preserve, where Will and his friends discover the infamous Senator Sally Atkinson, black oil running through her veins, and the awkward oil-man Dirk E. Diaper, staring malevolently at a majestic bald eagle circling above them. Despite his father's warnings to stay away from Atkinson and despite everything he and his family owe to the oil industry, Will sets on a course to uncover the villains' secret oil development plans. Together he and his friends, must draw on every resource they have--Ally's eco-terrorist strategies, Will's fantastic guitar riffs, Javi's eloquence, and Tanisha's sheer bravery--to overcome the powerful Senator and save the soaring eagles. Can they succeed? If they do, will it cost Will's father his shot at the Presidency, and destroy their fragile father-son relationship? Or, might Will just change the fate of the world's energy future, secure his dad's presidential legacy, and get the girl? That's the challenge facing this young man on the wing. Starring Corbin Bernsen, Shirley Jones, Dan DeLuca and a cast of up and coming young actors!
