Captain Underpants: The First Epic Movie is an upcoming American computer-animated comedy film based on the children's novel series of the same name by Dav Pilkey. Produced by DreamWorks Animation, and animated by Mikros Image, it is being directed by David Soren. It features the voices of Ed Helms, Kevin Hart, Thomas Middleditch, Nick Kroll, and Jordan Peele. It is set to be released on June 2, 2017. This will be the last film by DreamWorks Animation to be distributed by 20th Century Fox.
