The life of Camilla, a successful lawyer and a grown-up daughter, is turned upside down on a rainy night in Milan. A car accident, of which you may be responsible for her, involves her in an investigation that will take her very far from the places and landscapes that she is used to frequenting. Beside her in this mysterious and uncertain street, there is Bruno, director of the morgue, with whom Camilla - while she tries to reconstruct the life of a stranger - discovers herself.
