Synopsis by Dan Pavlides
Jacques Cousteau and his team of underwater explorers dive nearly 1,000 feet down in the Red Sea in this Academy Award-winning documentary from 1964. The divers base their operations from a prefabricated underwater house that isolates them from the rest of the world, where the sea is teeming with plants and animals including sharks and colorful fish. The feature won an Oscar for "Best Documentary."
