The basic premise for this Charley Chase two-reeler would be used again a couple of years later for the comedian's first talking film, The Big Squawk. Chase plays a girl-shy professor at -- where else? -- a ladies' seminary. Since he's too backwards to know how to deal with the flirtatious young flappers that constantly surround him, he escapes to a mountain cabin -- and brings along a female dummy for practice. A group of girls also take refuge in the cabin, and the fun begins. First off, Chase mistakes a real girl for the dummy. Then, clad in a negligée, he's forced to dodge a bevy of scantily clad maidens and finally, wearing nothing but a sheet, he escapes into the snow. The dean's daughter (the passionate Lupe Velez) rescues him. She is able to completely cure Chase of his bashful behavior, and makes a man -- and a husband -- of him.
