Synopsis by Hans J. Wollstein

Handsome silent-screen leading man Jack Mower moonlighted in this low-budget silent western under the name Jack Meehan. Directed by actor Paul Hurst, The Passing of Wolf McLean told the none-too-innovative story of a drifter falsely accused of killing a man in a bar-room altercation. He is, of course, innocent but is almost lynched before the real culprit, the local parson (Mark Fenton), finally feels compelled to confess. Released by the Usla Company, the Meehan westerns met with general apathy and only a handful seems to have been produced.
