With a title like Kiss the Girls and Make Them Cry, it was inevitable that this British miniseries would have a character named Georgie (if not Georgie Porgie). Played by Steve Alder, later of the popular action weekly The Professionals, Georgie embarked upon an erstwhile romance with a girl named Wendy (Sue Vanner). This being a dramatic program, the course of true love ran anything but smoothly. The four half-hour episodes of Kiss the Girls and Make Them Cry were telecast by the BBC in 1979.
