Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Although this drama marked the first screen appearance in two years for dancer Irene Castle, it was not a great vehicle for her -- she got to do a little dancing and wore some nice clothes in the first part, but for the rest of the picture, she's stuck in a New Hampshire logging camp: Because both her brother and father are dead, Palma May (Castle) supports herself by dancing in a New York cabaret. She falls in love with John Tabor, the son of the owner of a lumber camp (Ward Crane), and the two eventually marry. There is labor trouble at the camp, so Jarvis Tabor (Howard Truesdale) sends for his son. John arrives with his bride, and Jarvis isn't pleased with the match -- he's convinced that Palma May is a citified jazz baby. To test the both of them, he sets them up in a rustic cabin with no modern conveniences, while he stays away to handle the trouble with the workers. Palma May begins to tire of their rough life, and when Keith Merwyn, her old theatrical manager (Charles Gerrard), invites her to a dinner party at a nearby hunting lodge, she's tempted to go back to Broadway. But the workers at Tabor's camp mutiny and John is hurt in the fracas. Palma May stands by her man, thus proving herself to be a worthy mate in the eyes of John's father.
