Synopsis by Janiss Garza
This is the old story of a poor girl involved with a rich man, but since it's based on an O. Henry story (Brick Dust Row), it's got a warmly insightful human twist. Florence (Alice Joyce) and Ella (May Hopkins) work for a milliner and live in a tenement apartment on "Brick Dust Row." The two girls take a boat to Coney Island one day, and on the brief voyage they meet Blinker, a millionaire (Walter McGrail). He immediately falls in love with Florence, but the differences in their background cause many misunderstandings. With the help of Bill, Florence's surrogate brother (Percy Standing), all is resolved between the couple.
