Synopsis by Janiss Garza

Nancy Price (Elaine Hammerstein, who incidentally was the granddaughter of Oscar Hammerstein) follows her cousin into the big city -- the cousin, who has come into some money, wants to visit her father and stepmother, and Nancy plans to keep a protective eye on her. The stepmother turns out to be an evil woman who is swindling the girl, and Nancy does her best to stop this. Along the way, she meets Englishman George Tewksbury Reynolds III (Reginald Sheffield), who falls in love with her. In spite of his society trappings, Nancy finds he is a real man underneath it all. Eventually the evil stepmother is foiled permanently and Nancy marries Reynolds. This film was adapted from the stage play by Booth Tarkington and Julian Street.
