Synopsis by Hal Erickson
The title of this Swedish film translates as Scattered Pages, suggesting perhaps a elegiac, Bergmanesque drama. Instead, the film is a musical revue, short on plot but long on entertainment. The story opens as a group of actors tear a passion to tatters in a dramatic scene. They are interrupted by a young member of the audience, who ambles on stage and declares that this is not what the public wants. To prove his, point, the young fellow packs the actors into a car and takes them on a tour of Stockholm's top theaters, cabarets and amusement parks, where his "guests" are regaled with some of the top variety talent in all Scandinavia.
