The 1956, 1966, and 1989 theatrical trailers and a rare introduction by the director comprise the special features for this DVD edition, which also includes a glossy Paramount Pictures DVD catalog (plus mail-in form) and a scene selection sheet. The coloring of this remastered and enhanced DVD is rich and full, with excellent resolution, sharp detail, and natural flesh tones; one is reminded of the colors and sensual shades of a work by Rembrandt. On the other hand, all the sound seems to emanate from the center of the picture and doesn't strike the ear as stereo at all.
