Fred Zinnemann's big-screen adaptation of Rodgers & Hammerstein's Oklahoma! comes to DVD with a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.20:1. English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital 5.1 and Dolby Digital Stereo. English and Spanish subtitles are accessible. Supplemental materials are limited to a theatrical trailer. Though 20th Century Fox could have done more with this release, the THX-certified sound and picture will surely please the film's many devoted fans.
