Not quite as suave as 007, and not quite as goofy as Austin Powers, Derek Flint (James Coburn), pulls off the super-spy business with loads of campy fun. Now available on DVD, and happily released in the original widescreen 2.35:1 Anamorphic ratio, it also has audio in English and French, Dolby Digital, Mono and subtitles in English and Spanish. The additional features on this could have been a real joy, sadly they're thinner than a paisley polyester shirt, hold on tight, you get a theatrical trailer and scene selection. For fans of Austin Powers, this is a must-own disc, along with the companion film Our Man Flint. |
