Jerry Lewis became one of the biggest movie stars in the world thanks to his anarchic energy and manic silliness. In 2004, Paramount released many of Lewis' most famous films on DVD. One of those discs, Cinderfella, offers a widescreen transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of the film. English and French soundtracks have been rendered in Dolby Digital Mono. Supplemental materials include a commentary track recorded by Lewis and his good friend singer Steve Lawrence that often lapses into stretches of silence. Also included are bloopers. This is a fine release that should thrill fans of the rubber-faced funnyman.
