Packed with cameos from the likes of Bob Denver, Pee-Wee Herman, and Dick Dale, the 1987 comedy-musical Back to the Beach stars Annette Funicello and Frankie Avalon as a pair of '50s-era cool kids who return to their old stomping grounds years after they'd grown up and started a suburban family. Threatened by a surly surfer gang, Avalon must overcome his fears to compete in a surfing contest and save the beach. The film is presented on this DVD in widescreen with the original soundtrack available in Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound and a dubbed French track in Dolby Digital Stereo.
