Biography by Sandra Brennan

A star of both French stage and television, Francois Chaumette also appeared sporadically in feature films, beginning with Marcel Carne's Les Visiteurs du Soir (The Devil's Envoys) (1943). His subsequent film credits include Night Affair (1961) and The Beautiful Prisoner (1983).
