Ed Kelso
Biography by Hans J. Wollstein

A former reporter and feature writer with the San Francisco Call Bulletin the San José News, and a staff writer for such radio acts as Fred Allen, Willie Howard, and Joe Penner, California-native Edmond Kelso began his screen career with low-budget producer Grand National in 1936 and remained with the company until 1938. Specializing in B-Westerns and action-melodramas, Kelso also co-wrote the Western serial The Oregon Trail (1939).
